Outsourcing to third party manage non-core activities helps the firm focus on core activities. Manufacturing firms are outsourcing product development, manufacturing, logistics, customer care etc. enhance production capacity and flexibility, reduce operational costs, which in turn can improve profitability competitive advantage of enterprise. Sustainability operations supply chain is gaining momentum due increased global environmental concern, pressures from consumers communities, enforced regulations. Volatile uncertain business environment necessitates adoption agility flexibility effectively manufacturing chain. Globalisation has made market very hence adopting parties. Selecting a sustainable agile partner (MPS) crucial as it will sustainability, efficiency, effectiveness firm. Detailed literature review selection been carried out EBSCO data base Goggle scholar. Selection criteria used classified into agile, operational, economic, social. The techniques use mostly multi decision making methods (MCDM) while few have adopted programming techniques. Discussion, implication scope future work also provided.
